Unlike most of my photos, this one has had some significant manipulation. It started as part of a steel mesh cage which I used to use for transporting sheep. Well, I played with it in Paintshop until I got this effect.

Excellent effect. It looks like the longest house in Japan, with those bamboo sliding panels and opaque rice paper "windows."

Like Ty, I thought it was a real space, like a corridor or something, with recessed lighting. Great manipulation, good lines and perspective, a very fine abstract.
The more I look at this, the more I like it. There are a few "unstraight" lines which I like, and the different tone across the centre is magic.

Lovely abstract Roger. A good piece of work.
It looks as if you had a partial sunset over the cage which has given you that beautiful glow across the centre.

Helen (helenlinda), you are very perceptive. The original of this did indeed include a sunset, with the cage in the foreground. It was a very colourful sunset, and included trees, but had no outstanding qualities. None of the manipulations I tried with the colourful part produced anything that I liked.
ParickSmith, yes when I created this it reminded me of those Japanese sliding panels too, it just needs some tatami mats to complete the scene!
