In response to comments from Joline, and GingerC, here is the colour version of my last picture. The orange colour in the foreground is straight from the camera, but the clouds have been darkened.
The clouds may have darkened but I do not think that it has detracted from the image.
Great colours and tones, like the track leading into the image, great comp.
It's a very strong and stiking image - darkening the cloud was a good thing to do - but (only a wee one) I do feel that there is rather a halo around the left hand tree... I love the overall effect though! Carol
Ooooh..love the dark contasting colour!
Very dramatic image. Like the shadows taking you into the image. Very effective........Sandy
This is "spot on" Roger - I liked the mono too, but this is great.......Bill
looks great Roger, well done
Excellent work , love the scene.
Wow, wow, wow.....this trumps the previous one! What color! Something we never see here in the Northeast. Were the clouds gray or blue in the unedited version? The angle of the sun and shadows is so dramatic. Now put up the untweaked version...I'd love to see it, too.

They were a much lighter shade of grey.
Just checked out your sunsets taken on the same night as mine.... Great work, this one is my favourite. It has a very cool HDR feel about it. Andrew
A wonderful capture Roger . I love the sunshine that paints the trees and foreground . Love the stark grey clouds . xx
