V1 excellent due to composition, detail etc. for me, v2 and v3 are a bit of a let down as i don't feel that the subject placement within the frame is right and V3 has a lot of space that i don't feel adds to the image.

also like the 'diffed' antelope or such in the background on V1

Excellent image of the hyena but I might have cropped out the deer in the b/g as I want to go there rather than focus on the hyena which is the subject herek

I missed this posting. Three fine images of hyenas, all looking very shifty - I see you were in South Luangwa - one of my favourite places. (We're going back there in August next year - already booked!).
