I uploaded a version of this before, but this time I've included some versions of the hunt in progress.

V1 is the end of the chase, when the zebra managed to escape, so no worries for the zebra lovers out there!

V2 shows the cheetahs making the decision to go, and V3 shows the first cheetah starting the chase. The next few shots show various stages of the hunt in progress, with the last shot(V8) showing the cheetahs watching the zebra vanish into the distance, while they sit there wondering where it all went wrong!

Incredible series! V2 and 5 my favorites - v2 shows that almost sinister pose they have. Great shots and although I know cheetahs have to eat, I am glad the zebra got away.

What a stunning series of images Roger. I'm not surprised a zebra got away, the cheetahs must have been chancing their arms somewhat with a prey so big.

V6 looks like a pivotal moment in a great series of pictures. What a privilege, thanks for sharing that. Neil
