The difficulty with Razorbills is that their eye colour is very close to that of their plumage and so is hard to photograph. You can see the eye here, but I think it only looks good in the large version.

Ron.

Nice exposure on such a difficult subject, well done!!,

Chris.

I concur re the eye and perhaps the blob of light in the centre, having noted those bits, which is very very picky of me, I think the composition and exposure are great. It is incredibly sharp and the bird has pulled a fabulous pose for you; My Best Side? Julia

Nicely exposed for the blacks and whites - like the composition and good detail. Couple of dust spots in the blue/grey which could be cloned out, and the light blotch right in the centre would be better removed. Nice photo though.

"Blob" aside, this is superb - can almost here the noise and smell the smell of the seabird cliff!
Fine work Ron.

Super shot, just a quick click as I've been away at Focus for a couple of days, a 450 mile round trip for me.
Geoff.

Good capture.
