Another of my dreamy rose images, but with the original as V 2 for any who might prefer that.
My thanks to all who commented Garden Roses and with special thanks to Andy {andylea} for his User Award.......much appreciated.
Ronnie.
(PS.......have taken quite a few images today with the Sony Alpha NEX-7 and I have to say that the detail captured by the 18-55mm. kit lens is quite impressive: this will not be too obvious with the greatly reduced file size for EPZ but can be appreciated on the Mac.........R)

The presentation in v1 is nice but I prefer the natural colours in v2 it is a beautiful rose, well composed among all the fine buds and that has more mpact to me.
v2 for me Ronnie, the dark green foliage makes the yellow bloom even more intense.

A beautifully worked image Ronnie, smashing!

Two cracking presentations, Ronnie, but I'm going for V1 as my fave ![]()

Must say the two captures work Ronnie but V1 does hide the bottom brickwork so my choice mate, glad the camera is working out for you, lots of my camera club members are ditching their SLRs for these smaller lighter cameras now that the quality is this good.
Regards
Trev.
1 vote each Ronnie a fine looking rose that has survived well in the recent weather

The original is very nice Ronnie, but your efforts on the processing has produced a fantastic image of soft and dreamy colours.

The original is so beautiful but I still prefer V1 - well done!

First class flower photography Ronnie, although i like the dreamy misty effect you've created in v1 I love the natural more colourful v2 which steals the show
