A view downriver on the Clyde (2 evenings back) and including the cranes at Yarrows Shipbuilders, the crane at European Metal Recycling (distant centre left) and modern flats at Meadowside Quay.
My thanks to all who commented on Along Came A Spider.......your time and remarks are much appreciated as ever.

an industrial sunset with surprising contrasts , the watercolour sky meets modern architecture and a metallic river.
There is only one little nag... I really love the composition and all about it but the little white pole top. I feel the urge to crop it off or tone it down. But rest assured, there are certainly many things in my own pictures that I see only too late.
Stunning capture Ronnie, I love this time of day with enough light left to give detail to shadows, love it.

Trev.
Good shot Ronnie,
and can you imagine the hive of activity going on at
Yarrows if this was taken back in time ?
I recall as a kid in Leith back in the 60s with Henry Robbs shipyard.
They had to stagger the finishing times at 15 minute intervals
because there were that many working there at the time !!

A little later than usual yet very interesting. Cranes and buildings converge and that looong hull underscores the clean uncluttered arrangement. TG
Fantastic image Ronnie, great composition and that sky is awesome
Hugh
What a fabulous sky ....
dont see anything like that in Lees
Good capture Ronnie, right place right time, you captured it in the window of time when it's at it's best, good lighting well balanced image.

Nice to see the sun setting over the city, sadly many think the sun set on the Clyde years ago, but there's still a living being made here, and the world keeps revolving even if we don't. Nice work Ronnie, out late?
Dougie
fine work here Ronnie a good sky enough light remaining to give good detail looks like the light side has come up with the goods for you
did you take any with the Glenless in the f/g?
Graham
Beautiful sky, Ronnie, so much interest within the cloud shapes and the colour is superb. The three cranes are perfectly placed on the third and the river pulls the light down into the foreground in its reflection. Lovely balanced image.

A stunning capture, Ronnie. Beautiful tones and colors. Deep
A great low light shot Ronnie, like the sky and detail,
Geoff.
A lovely evening capture, Ronnie, contrasting the old on the left side with the new on the right. Excellent stuff! ![]()
