Getting desperate for something other than flowers, I went out last night for a sunset or landscape and I'm afraid this is all I ended up with........the evening sky reflected in the river.
Ah, well.......perhaps one day!!!!!

My grateful thanks as ever to all who commented on One Day The Sun........

Ronnie.

Yes we've had a few sunsets if nothing else.
That's one advantage of clouds.

We do not always get what we wish for Ronnie.
A good ''substitute'' here though.
Looks like ice.
But I suppose that is not far away before we see that !!

Great spot. The colour tones in the reflection contrasted with the shadowed plant looks great.

It certainly has impact. This is definitely a one day, I'd say you nailed it with this one……….

Superb Ronnie, wish I had seen this. It has all the things I like in an image, reflection on water some colours and a nice diagonal composition. Deserves my tree, so here it is.

No need to feel desperate when you come up with an image like this, Ronnie. Pure oil painting style and effect. It works so well. Great water reflection and on the diagonal to boot.

The colour and clarity in the reflection is superb, Ronnie, and the 'shivers' in the water (not big enough for ripples Tongue) give a lovely painterly effect. A beautiful deviation from your flowers.
