Getting desperate for something other than flowers, I went out last night for a sunset or landscape and I'm afraid this is all I ended up with........the evening sky reflected in the river.
Ah, well.......perhaps one day!!!!!

No need to feel desperate when you come up with an image like this, Ronnie. Pure oil painting style and effect. It works so well. Great water reflection and on the diagonal to boot.

The colour and clarity in the reflection is superb, Ronnie, and the 'shivers' in the water (not big enough for ripples 
) give a lovely painterly effect. A beautiful deviation from your flowers.

look s so much like a gouache painting, well done! Only the wee ripples give it away
and yes, I'd like to see another colour than green and grey !
