Probably Londons heaviest snowfall in years. The wind was blowing a hoolie ! as they say. It was a challenge to take images and keep the camera's dry ! Had to take refuge in the Tate Modern to dry out ourselves and camera's. What a day ! Have a great Christmas and New Year, my last upload for the time being !

Looks like there was at least 1cm of snow which brought the city to another embarrassing standstill.

No doubt though that Londoners conducted themselves with true Dunkirk spirit, bought teabags using coupons & whistled upbeat tunes such as the theme tune to Dad's Army as they marched to the nearest Starbucks where they shared anecdotal stories of WW2 & the Blitz while listening to Vera Lynn records over the tannoy.

You've done a great job of capturing the cold and the blowing snow and I like the sense of depth from the people farther away being obscured by more and more snow. Unfortunately, your processing has given the man in the foreground bright red skin. That, or Hell really has frozen over and the devil had to pop out for a pint of milk and a bag of sugar. Wink Seriously, though, the positives of the shot vastly outweigh this single negative. I bet the BBC News would publish this in one of their 'Big freeze' galleries.
