Nungwe is at the n/w tip of Zanzibar. Dhows are built here still. It was a fascinating trip to see the real Zanzibar away from the tourists.

Nice colours and I love the heavy sky, so typical of the tropics.

Super purple light. The solitary figure lifts and animates the image, and the dhows are great. A very timeless scene.

Watch the horizon...

Very atmospheric seascape. Sharp and clean, and I like the inclusion of the person. It makes the picture.

Great light & atmosphere to this. Like the solitary figure, & of course the boats. Would like to be there.

Ron, that is a beautiful slide with gorgeous velvia blues, delightful tones from the breaking waves on sand against those blues. It is all given a very steady purpose by the man walking towards the boats. This is about him and he works in splendid environment.

What a beauty Ron. I like the way you have cut the horizon with the masts, and the figure gives it an extra bonus.

Nice balance to the shot, Ron. That little splash of red on the sail makes a good contrast with the rest of the subdued palette.
