Taken in California, this Sea Otter was reluctant to move. The tide kept taking it out of range and then back again. a wonderful experience !!!!

Oh, these are such wonderful gentle creatures and I'm so glad they have made a good comeback in nature. To think they almost became extinct after all the slaughter for fur early in the prior century. I love how they lie on their backs and eat or clean their faces
