I do like that colourful umbrella. It gives the feel of the blowing cold snow trying to protect the man. Super winter capture.

It's a cracking good image, Ron, but can't say it's doing anything to return home from Nairobi, just yet...Smile

Could almost be Ade Edmundson - was Rik Mayall dropping into the Thames, propelled by the pointy bit of that lovely brolly?

Much as I like the snow, it's not great when it happens in London as it's impossible to get to work! Great shot - but not somewhere I would want to be when the snow falls - the wind whistles up the river and chills you to the bone!

It doesn't get much better than this, Ron. The umbrella man is so well positioned between the two groups of walkers, the coloured brolly contrasting with the winter white, the huddled figures and driving snow. And as for the expression on his face...priceless.

Colour and cold... excellent contrast, Ron

(and it was a bitterly cold wind if I remember rightly)
