Hi Andy
Fantastic Shot! Your modification suggested by Frank is even better!
May I suggest cloning out the leaf and twig above his head as they distract the eye and look a bit like a 3rd ear Smile

Superb! I love it! This might be just me but would a slight straightening of the horizon improve it even more?

Help with the "wow" factor

Help with the "wow" factor by RobMorrisPhotography

I agree with both of the comments and feel that the mods have both given it the wow factor as requested! I also like the way Pamela has cropped it and cloned out the buildings

Isle of Man TT 2008 by PeteWilliamson

Gret action shot! However whist agreeing to some extent with the pro-critique I appreciate the diffuculty in getting this superb shot!
I agree with him about the road signs growing out of their heads but would have thought with careful cloning out you could remove the green lampost and the one to the right of it quite easily!
It's a shame you didn't allow mods on this photo as I would have liked to have had a go!

I am afraid that that is a feature for e2 members only! It appears to us underneath the pictures. So far it has had 85 unique views and 96 views [meaning some people have viewed it more than once]

I am very impressed with your cloning skills! Well done!

Red hot pokers

Red hot pokers by KangaGal

Hi Jenny
Agree with all of the above. However I feel that the flower on the right is at an unatural angle and spoils the composition. I would have pegged that one and the one on the left out of the way and concentrated just on the middle group. I would if possible have taken it from a different view point so as to get only sky in the background and avoid the hedge.

Hope this helps

Broke Inlet Sunset

Broke Inlet Sunset by BazE

Beautiful sunset, lovely colours and well composed! However the only thing that spoils it is the horizon slopes down to the right. I have uploaded a mod. The straightening process has meant that I have had to clip off the top of the trees! I guess you achieved this crop from a landscape photo so if you go back to the original photo straighten it and then recrop so there is space above the trees and possibly keep all of the reflection of the trees as well! I would be tempted also to crop out the dark area on the right.
Hope this helps as it is a lovely scene and well worth playing around with

Scottish Estuary

Scottish Estuary by Yewtree

A lovely peaceful waterside scene! I agree with all of the above as regards compostion and lighting etc and of the mods I prefer no 3 without the harbour wall however I would have been tempted to crop a little of the gunk off the bottom making sure that you keep the whole of the reflected masks and then possibly cloning out the remaining gunk! I have uploaded a mod for you. As it is a small size picture I have done very quick cloning on the large size you can get a much better result
Hope this helps Rosalie
Its a shot worth playing around with to get the best possible result

A Good shot considering the circumstances! That must have been scary just as well you had the glass between! It's a shame you were unable to get the whole of the beak in!
