What a great shot! I bet he thought all his birthdays had come at once. Have a great time while you are away.

Super image, great light too, did you or the cat have the wine with the fish? ![]()
Hugh
It was a moment before I noticed the glass of wine. And then the knife and fork... Wonderfully funny.
Moira
Clever, funny and extremely well executed technically and compositionally. I'm waiting for Freddy Frinton to appear with the soup, though ![]()

What a great image Alex, fun and so well done.
Hope he enjoyed the wine,
Chris.
Great image Alex, love the rich tones, looks like a good smoked fish for dinner, can't get our cat to cooperate at all, well defined image, Adrian

Excellent image and a great time for the cats.
Christine
Great fun here Alex, have to say the fish doesn't look too happy about it though ![]()
Geoff.
I like the idea, and I love the golden light on the fish, but I'm not completely happy with the composition - at the very least I would have preferred to have had the glass in a position where it didn't have such a busy background behind it. But nice to see something so different, makes a great change.
I guess the chilled white wine went down a treat too
Susan
I bet he/she loved that....We buy the Dogs best stake....
Hope you have a great time..

Superb composition, love everything about it - Jonathan
I don't imagine you had too much time to set this up Alex, otherwise there would surely be a good piece of the fish missing, as it is you've done a wonderful job with it, excellent work!
Hope you enjoy your break, be sure to bring back lots of shots, so we''ll know what you've been up to ![]()

this is really terrific what fun that shot must of been
I'm so sorry I've missed many of these. This looks so much like our cat - did yours actually get a taste of the fish. Imaginative and excellent capture.
