macro challange 2 - feed me!!
It's an ugly little so and so, isn't it? Well done for getting so close to it (especially without mum attacking you!)It's a bit dark on the left hand side, losing you a lot of detail, but I don't suppose you could persuade it to turn its head nicely towards the light!
The right eye is nice and sharp, as are the surrounding feathers, but I think I might have preferred the beak to be sharp at the end too.
Great subject idea anyway, I feel so boring with what I shot now lol

Beauty and the Beast
It's a lovely colour for the flower, and nice and sharp.I like the idea of showing more of the surrounding than just the flower, but I'd have liked to see it more focussed in on the flower with the spine coming through the petal - not cut out the background, just reduce it a bit. I'll try a mod at home later.

Poppy in Field
I really like the lone poppy in the centre, and the colour processing, but I find the red smudge (obviously another poppy) down in the left hand corner a bit distracting

On The Boardwalk
I like the idea, although I think the sky is a little light to get the best effect (damn, guess that means you'll need to go back sometime 
). I think the b&w conversion brings it out a bit, maybe need to try and up the contrast a bit too?

Sorry to say this, but it's really far too cluttered, it's a funny shape, and the foreground is really uninteresting. Think you need to go back and try again and consign this ***** to the bin

I like all the things going on, but it's a shame the top of the roofs have been cut off. I also might have waited till the guy walking in from the left was further in, and the other one going was out altogether as they seem a little cramped at the side of the shot. However chances were as a grab shot you didn't have much time for that!

After the Rain
Hi Kelli,To make this visible to us you should do the following:
Crop off any extra white from around the picture
Resize the picture to 600 pixels along its longest edge
Save for Web so that it is a jpeg less than 100kb
Look forward to seeing it

I like the idea, but the pint's lost some of it's sharpness by painting it through I think. Great effort though
