Thanks guys. My friend that was with me hadn't done landscapes before (well, he only actually got his first camera the week before). Peering into the gloom he asked what on earth we were doing there this early and what on earth would we take photos of in the dark Grin

The blue really conveys the feeling of cold. The freezing mist across Black Mount is a fine bonus that might have worried you if it was going to last.
You must have talked Kev into this with some carrot, the moor in Winter is not the place to be if you don't know wht you're there?
I think you might be due him a very large drink.
