Finally getting round to processing some of the photos I took at the Kinloch Rannoch meet at the beginning of the month.

This is the Crannog at Kenmore on the shores of Loch Tay, where we battled through the detritus from a couple of illegal fishermen (well, they had permits, but not for that bit!) to get a good view along the shore. Jura took care of at least one rod for us though Wink

I decided that I wasn't going to use the Siggy 10-20 to do landscapes at this meet, and explore landscapes with a longer lens, so this was taken at 55mm on my Canon 28-135 lens

C&Cs welcome Smile

Fantastis view excellent comp but may be just me there is just to much water at the bottom. Feel a crop just under the reflection of the tree works better to focus the eye on the main subject.

Good to know someone else has realised that wide angle isn't the b all and end all of landscape photography. Wink

Hi

this is a really lovely shot, works well

have you thought about a square crop? isolating the structure/background?

it is so very easy to stay with the 10-20, congrats on thinking a bit differently here

regards

Paul
