So we all got up at 5 am, we all trooped off like dutiful little landscaping sheep to see the sunrise at Llanddwyn Islans and... we all failed to see the bl**dy sun rise!
Still, gave me a chance to have a play with my 10 stop filter. Sorry, now that I discovered quadtone/tritone/duotones, you're also going to be getting a lot of b&w variations too for a while ![]()

This has a very attractive tonal quality. the water and sky complement the greens/browns/yellows on the land and shore. just a thought on the use of the ten stop filter, (ok this is kind of cliched but...) I might have been tempted to get a bit closer to the waters edge and try for stronger impression water movement over the pebble beach, which is nice and sharp in the image. lovely work. I must get one of these filters.
