Image of a puffin taken during a trip to Skomer Island last year. Natural history/bird photography is not typically my thing but I was really surprised how much I enjoyed myself. It is a fanastic experience and I now appreciate that the importance of choosing the right time of the year, which I understand is only around a six week period, and being blessed with the right weather to permit the crossing, is important
