Hi there
I have not been on for a while but I have not been out shooting landscapes much due to the horrid weather but I could not let this magnificent field of poppies go without at least giving them a shot. Just set up and the dark clouds appeared again but I stuck with for a while before running for cover. I went back several times only to be beaten by the storms, but I think in this case it makes for a more dramatic shot. Lets see what you think of my two efforts

Two good captures, Trevor, but v1 by far the stronger image with the line of trees leading into the scene giving a lovely depth to it. v2 is very 'layered', it has some lovely detail but is nowhere near as dynamic as v1.

The dark looming cloud cover adds to the scene by giving contrast to the brighter poppy field.......beautifully captured shots, with V 1 easily my favourite for the reasons given.
