This is the first floor of the woollen mill which closed in 1961. The whole building is hidden by trees in a very small village which is why I don't think many people have discovered it.
V2 please Jonny. This gives the depth and impact of the scene..
I agree with Jocelia. V2 is my favorite. It is a WONDERFUL image -- great detail and lighting, perfect exposure all around -- both in the room and outside the windows.
I love it.
I like both versions, with version 2 having the edge:
Looking more closely, it looks like the kind of industrial heritage that should bem saved for the nation?
A blacksmith's and wheelright's workshop near us recently received a TV award ......it has been fully restored and is now open to fascinated visitors:
A fantastic pair of real life images, expertly captured and processed. Version 2 ticks all the right boxes for me.
Agreed with NDODS. I prefer the colour one too. Both are great shots though.
I have to go with the everyone else say V2.
Fantastic indoors shot, love the clutter and age that it protrays.
Thanks for the comments, I think I went with the mono in the end just because I had been trying to get the colour right and ended up with a few different coloured versions so when I converted it to mono it seemed to look better, but having had another look now I think I also prefer version 2.
Fabulous image, it really works well as a mono, but I think on this occasion v2 just pips it for me, those wonderful colours and textures
There is just soooooooooooooooo much to see here - I think you could work now on isolating certain parts of the image - there are several good pictures within both of these - some would work better in mono too
Love the mono treatment suits the subject perfectly.
The best of your old mill series for me Jonny ..... beautifully processed and full of detail
v2 is a bit insipid for me whereas the BW version really shines ... so crisp and contrasty
WOW--what an Aladdins cave you have discovered here.
Would keep me busy for weeks on end finding little pics here !!
And gotta be colour for me.
Fab... love V2
So hard to pick but if pushed,,,,hmm no,2.
As much as I love a good mono, and v1 is good, I think I have to go with the warm tones in v2.
Like the colour version.
Looks a great location, could have some fun here.
Love this, I could look at for hours. Nice to see someone who know what they're doing!
