I take the trip to the Southbank every other weekend, if not every weekend, as the graffiti sprayed is constantly altered, which gives the images a good theme. The variety of bikers plus skaters roaming around, create good motion blur effects. I use a 35mm SLR camera for a large proportion of my documentary photographs, as the minimalistic grain effect adds a touch of the vintage aspect, and also enhances the tones. I have entered a shot of the annual merry-go-round ride, located next to the Tate modern, which was captured during the Christmas season. I aimed to catch the ride in motion, but managed a still good shot featuring other members of the public.
