Finally got a shot close enough to show some eye detail.
Even at f9 still not enough DOF. Have to use a tripod next time and smaller aperture.

Fine effort...i only have 60 mm micro...it is hard work with d/f...and hand held is iffy...clunck down a tripod and the subject is gone

Great close up. Nice work. Would suggest if you use a smaller apperture try using a diffused flash. You'll find you can get quite a good shutter speed.
