Another one of the chinese fishing nets in fort Cochin.

It was a choice I had to make between the man trying to fish with a line or the steamer.... and then i got both in the frame.

I am trying to catch up on a lot of uploads. been a bit irregular at the site and do miss all that comunication.

Yes,I agree about the contrasts with the vessels here.
And that could be a submarine below, with its periscope !!
I was rather suprised that piracy on the high seas is still an ongoing problem in this day and age !!

A good take, Radhika, with the old and the new well contrasted. I particularly like the silhouetted fisherman in the lower left corner.

As all above have said, great comp of contrasts. Mono works well with this image giving it a timeless feel, could have been taken 40 yrs ago.
