A Saturday Shadow candidate.
A new method for protecting the drain from the advancing weeds and avalanche.

Liked the contrast between the organised bricks and the pile of stones.

An interesting observation and one which you have captured very well. For me the encroaching pebbles represent a vast Army as they approach a brick fortification. "That's one great thing about photography, you can interoperate an image in so many ways"

"And the walls came tumbling down". Or some such: I was musing on where all those stones could have come from but couldn't come up with an answer. Add the brick square to them and the ensemble could form a medieval conundrum! At least there's a decent pattern to go with the curiosity.
