) It has been uninhabited for some years, except during the winter months when it is a welcome refuge for the odd homeless traveller or two.
So I thought it was about time to indulge in a bit of Urbex as it, well, is there, and is open so no breaking in required.
I have given the images a gritty look to match the overall look of the interior. The images out the camera looked far too good for the reality, if you understand what I mean.
As Mikbee would say, it needed som grot.![]()
Thanks for all the recent interest, and thanks for bothering.

What a fabulous subject, I could have serious fun here!
V1 and V3 my favourites, out of a great set. V1 wins I think by a whisker - the use of the low viewpoint creates terrific atmosphere.

Great interesting set.. Good amount of dirt & filth captured. Think V1 works best.. With the composition & light on the sofa.. Well done for daring to venture in... What, no rats ?
Michaela
Cracking set, Malc. All mod cons despite the grot. The special treatment is well judged.
Regards
Bill
Where once there was splendor - evidenced by that lovely sofa in v1.

Never had you down as an urbex warrior, Malc. Excellent complementary set, they're all top grot
but surely it should be yours for a krona!!

What you've done is turned this old ruin into a grot palace, they'll be flocking here from all over the globe to capture this much decay.
Dougie
Perfect processing for these images Malc, I like them all.

Estate agents would probably describe this has 'having potential' and asking about half a million pounds for it! A fine bit of grot indeed, Malc ![]()

Reminds me of some of the homes I used to clear when in the antiques trade, and that beautiful couch in V1 is a dream, would love to restore that, and am surprised it's still there. Thanks for a glimpse behind the door.
someone loved and lived in it happily
what a set.
v2 and 4 for me, fantastic processing and lovely decay ![]()
