A simple garden hose (latin name: common-or-garden-hose) leading from a greenhouse gutter into a water butt...with its twin on the far side of the greenhouse.

Just back from a very enjoyable invasion of Norfolk on the occasion of the baptism of my niece's first-born. A very happy event, and an opportunity to meet up with family members we do not see in person so often due to living abroad, and meeting my niece's husband's family for the first time.
A very good time was had by one and all, and the baby's head was well and truly wetted, and I am not talking about Holy water from the font!

Now to play catch-up.

Thank you all for all recent comments and interest.

Thank you for bothering.

Malc

An unusual subject for a successful composition. I like the shallow dof (well, I would, wouldn't I?) and wonder if the photo might work in b&w (ditto).
I trust you did not partake of UNholy water from the font Smile
Regards
Bill

Bill... tried it in b&w (as you know, I have a penchant for that particular genre) but couldn't find an effect that had the same impact as the original.
The water imbibed was not from the font, but was indeed 'the water of life'Wink

Looks a great idea--- We are in the process of installing a rain barrel made from a re-cycled olive oil barrel-- I might make a picture with it, doubt it will be interesting like this one is!

Intravenous imbibing!! No wonder the twin is de-focussed. GrinGrin
