Anyone else fed up with the so-called summer so far?
Every time I ear-mark an event as worth having a butchers, when it comes to the day it's absolutely phissing down. Has happened three times this "summer."
Saturday was the annual Gay Pride parade in Oslo, and for the second year running, it rained cats and dogs all day. Who invented the saying about raining on your parade? And despite the advice of the Weather Girls, I did not want to go out and get absolutely soaking wet!
Ah well, there's always next year...(as I said last year.)
Anyway, down to the business of the day. This effort is converted from raw without altering any colours, and no hdr treatment. It is the framewrok holding up the roof at an outdoor stage in the town of Drammen here in Vikingland.
The only thing I have done is a slight crop and an insy-wincy tweak to the levels. The hdr look is due to the corrugated plastic roof acting as a kind of light filter.
Many thanks for all recent comments and to Bill (woolybill1):
No, my favourite line from a song is NOT "Do you come from a land down under?" by Men at Work.
