This mini-series is escalating (cue choirs of groans from the viewing public).
After the previous upload of the green and red moving stairways, I present for your entertainment the hot and cold gold and blue escalators.
In this version, the cold, blue going up bit was in motion whilst the golden, going down bit was stationary - not to be confused with stationery which is all about writing sundries and nothing to do with lack of movement.
I do hope you are all getting in the Easter mood and may all your bunnies be fluffy and yellow, and all your eggs made of chocolate![]()
Thanks for bothering.
Malc

This is quite exciting, and jazzy too, Malcolm. The reflections, especially on the blue, create intriguing psychedelic patterns. You have superb detail, and also the movement of the blue stairs. Your pov, symmetry, colour and shapes make this image outstanding.
I wonder if you tried straightening using the bottom front ends of the escalators. I did, but the correction left no room at the sides of the front rail curves (see mod). Of course, if your original is larger, it would be ok.
Great colouring, im guessing this is done in PS and they are not actually that colour - would be amazing if they were ![]()
John
Superb pristine detailing on the escalators.. The colours are striking... Excellent image![]()
An uplifting image here Malc, but I feel I must take you to task on some glaring errors on your part.
Firstly,I am always in a BAD mood at Easter for the rip off prices with the chocolate eggs.
Secondly,I would much prefer to be given one of these Faberge eggs instead of a rip off chocolate one.
And Thirdly,I prefer my Bunny girls all fluffy and wearing red and not yellow !!
Mick.

The colours are genuine, John.... Someone in Oslo transport dept. has a taste for brightening up an otherwise dull experience on the underground![]()

Unfortunately, the original is no bigger. This was not a crop. The lack of space to the rhs did not permit it.![]()
Hot and cold running staircases. This is good. Reality can be such a strange place.

A wonderful wide-angle opportunity that you have seized with relish. I am truly envious.
That's a place I would like to use a fisheye, believing that 'publish and be damned' is the right attitude to brandish in the face of the conventional.
Psychedelia had nothing on reality.
Excellent shot, Malc.

Bill
Very well chosen subject matter for these effects Malc, they work so well, and certainly a delight to the Eye.

Wonderful colours, Malc, makes ours look quite boring!
A great viewpoint and capture ![]()

Well, bunnies and chocolate eggs here - but aren't you donning your skis and going up to the mountains to soak up sun and get cold sores ![]()
This image reminds me a bit of an area at the Chicago airport - I hope to get a chance to spend a little time there this year. Crazy lights and colours, surreal.
