Le Tour comes to Norway, albeit only for 5 days.
Twenty teams, eight muscular, sinewy, sweaty men per team pedalling for all they are worth, at times one can almost hear the sonic boom when they get up a proper head of steam.
Blimey, I think I need a rest, I am tired out just writing about them!
Deliberate slow shutter to try and capture the speed and action......stay tuned, more to follow over the coming days.
Thanks for all the recent comments and thumbs up. Very appreciated as always.
Thanks for bothering.
Malc

The bright colours show the movement so well, Malc. Two good captures. v2 seems to have the bigger impact but I like v1 without the car.

Great shots Malc, really good to view. And as for me, I think I need RE Cycling.

Fabulous shots. Thanks for your comment on my bluebell. Unfortunately I have less to look forward to than I have to look back on. A bit like our wild flowers!!

The Giro d'Italia, if course - I nearly forgot - it doesn't come anywhere near here. There was a big cycle race in Durham yesterday - but no publicity and no live coverage. If I'd heard about it 90 minutes earlier we could have been there. It's the only sport we follow.
But on the other hand, it was very wet ![]()
Love the motion blur here, Malc; I can't decide which version I prefer so I'll just sit on the crossbar!
Regards
Bill
Great sense of movement in both capture.. Prefer V1 for balance and composition..... Must get my bike out!
Excellent use of slow shutter speed Malc they look just like the Spandex monsters who risk life and limb (ours) on the local canal tow path.
I really like theway you have taken this one ... I also feel quite exhausted just looking at them
Marvellous feeling of movement in this one, until you see them at closehand you don't realise just how fast they are travelling, a bit like when you watch horse racing on the television then see it firsthand
Two super action shots Malc, they give a real sense of speed ![]()
Great work
Rick
