This young fellow was totally concentrated on catching his fleece thrown by his Dad. I was lucky with the timing and caught him perfectly. I have de-saturated the bg to make him and the fleece stand out more.

Many thanks for all the interest and comments on my previous upload.
Winter will not give up here. More snow and blizzards. I am sueing my wife. She convinced me that Norway was a tropical country when she wanted to move me here back in '88.

Thanks for bothering, and remember to make someone smile every dayWink

Message to the City and Good People of York...LOOK OUT, the Norwegian Jock is comingGrin

A beautifully captured candid. The expression of concentration and forthcoming detail has been wonderfully observed.

The catcher - caught Smile And very well caught too.
That diagonal is so dynamic, the wee boy's eyes contribute to it, while the man's arms in the background (esp. with the desaturation) form a counterpoint rather than a clash. Brilliantly timed.

Bill

Any image of a happy child is wonderful to view Malc. The square crop is perfect here - and it's the opposing diagonals of two small arms/hands and the adult arms/hands that make this composition so interesting.

I no longer believe the rumours that Norway will become a tropical place - and even if it does, the east coast would stay cold even then Wink

I am ashamed to say I'm not keeping up with Norwegian sports these days - I may be flogged by my friends when I visit this summer................

Good catches by both of you Malc, it's more normal to see the coats being thrown at parents as the action warms up.

A delightful candid, the red t-shirt that this little chap is wearing certainly makes him stand out. Winter won't go away here either, it is like an annoying piece of chewing gum that gets stuck to your foot or any of those blooming z list celebs that appear in our newspapers every day!Sad
