Nice series. The look of intense concentration on the face of the smaller boy in V2 is priceless!

Almost all the drums are normally played by hand rather than with sticks, I think. But giving the youngsters sticks make the exercise feel professional and aids their concentration. You have captured that concentration brilliantly and at close range. To Lynne's selection of the look in V2 I would add the tongue in V3 Smile

Bill

V1 is excellent, all the angles of the sticks and just enough hint of motion blur. But I love the tongue in V3.

As Bill says, this type of drum is usually played using the hands rather than sticks, but a great trio of images here, Malc; V2 for the boy's expression, V3 for the tongue...but V1's my fave, with all those drumsticks! Wink

There isn't a musical instrument that can't be played better by the use of one's tongue.
Marvellous set and it's hard to choose. I'm just glad I don't stay next door to them.
