Mrs. Salty and I have been on a couple of trips to the west of Norway. The weather was extremely variable, from wet and miserable (but not cold), to the warm, shorts & t-shirt version.
From a photographic point of view, mostly frustrating. Either flat and boring with no contrast and no sky visible in the images, to strong but very hazy sunlight. Ah well, such is life.
Anyway, today and tomorrow (or in the course of the next day or two depending on how much free time I get allocated by Mrs. S) I will present for you the mediocre best of an even more mediocre bunch.
The colours have not been enhanced in ps...this is how it was. In fact I have de-saturated the blue water and sky in a couple of the images.
Many thanks for all the recent interest, and as always, thanks for bothering.

Some lovely images here Malc, great to see them.

I like the expansive scenery of v4 the best, but the low-flying fluffy clouds are excellent in the others.

Quote: Has to be V2 for the clouds in the reflection on that most beautiful scene
(.....) amazing scenery Malc
so envious

I have to agree. And I'm even more impressed by the lack of artificial colouring!

What a beautiful part of the world captured so well

v2 for me too - how lovely to see those low lying clouds

You live in a magnificent country Malc, so much like Scotland but more extreme in the landscape. Little communities hanging on the edge of the water, a country that has had some history similar to Scotland too. I look forward to the next set, this one is superb showing Norway in a great light my friend.

Another stunning set of spectacular mountain scenes Malc, the cloud formations are fantastic and I love the blues and greens and snow capped mountain peaks. Again some of these should be uploaded again in their own right
