A re-make of a recent upload, cropped and tidied up to concentrate more on the intensity involved.
Taken at Père Lachaise cemetary in Paris.
Thanks to Bill (woolybill1) for the idea of the title.

very clever malc top work
Yes I approve of the crop, it does away with distractions top and bottom of frame, and concentrates attention on the implied 'direct eye contact'. Well thought out.
Sometimes I think it takes time to explore an image's full potential. I'm still working on one of mine that's already seen two outings here in different guises. This one is worth the extra effort.
I go along with your own comment up top, Malc: it's a wonderful shot, amd the intensity of that gaze is quite disarming. I would love to know what was going through it's head.
Amazing shot Malc, and the mono ..wow!
I love this image!
A powerful, sinister image, Malc.
You have captured the very essence of the beast: the natural born killer - it's in the eyes.
Impressive work Malc.
Bet the cat has figured it all out. The meaning of nine lives and more.
Deserves more attention....
A fascinating shot.
Amazing shot. To get the cat with that look on its face is awesome........Sandy
A powerful image here Malc with this pairing !!
I loved it before Malcolm and I love it now. The crop is better and does focus the eye more, although the subject matter is so powerful anyway. Brilliant!
It really is an absolute belter this Malc - fantastic work.
This is brilliant Malc. And I can just imagine Jesus saying "And just as I thought it could'nt get any worse".
A cat may look at a King.
A very powerful image enhanced by the monochrome Malc, I loved the original must take a look back now.
a great title, good for Bill.
I liked it before! but it's even better now! and the eyes of the cat are quite amazing!, wonder what it's last incarnation was?......nice one regards Leon. a matching Loo! what a great idea, cheers
A great well seen shot, Malc, and the crop works very well
Unusual and powerful image. Impressive piece of work.
