Hi all,
Last weekend the the frogs were breeding in my garden and I decided to try and photograph the frogs like last year. This time though, I decided to focus on portraits.
I tried to get everything out of focus in this one except for the eyes but I couldn't get a depth of field that small.
Hope you like it anyway.

Thank you to everyone for the C&C's on my last upload and I am really chuffed with the junior award.

Sam.

Great effort Sam, could have done with a smaller aperture to bring everything into focus a little more, perhaps something like f9-11......But as Heath states above it's a great POV......

Hi Sam, great shot mate,I love the way the eyes stand out in the shot and the pondweed around him brings a nice contrast of green compared to the colour of the water in the background,I have a similar shot of a toad on a granite stone that was on its way back to the water but it doesn't have the effect yours has, hopefully i can learn from your shot and apply it to something i take in the future, once again well done mate.
