This lovely cottage is a pub situated at one end of Shanklin beach where we spent a couple of hours relaxing and people watching almost every day whilst in the IOW.

Nice crisp capture Sandra - must get down there next time we visit. The problem for us is we see our son's in-laws, who very kindly take us to what they think we should visit Wink

Lovely place, Sandra, but I would have liked to see it not so very squeezed into the frame. Was there no possibility to take the shot postcard size?
Detail and angle are nice,
Johanna

I love thatch and it is unusual to see it so near the beach.Great shot Sandra..I am not sure a postcard size would have the same effect but it would be interesting to see.

What a lovely place to stop and people watch. The pub is really quaint, but I am also fascinated by the cliff which appears to have metal bolts in it. I also prefer the portrait crop.

Please to give the 30th, it's a colourful image & nice to see thatched roofs, just a pity someone had build sheds so close to a super place they do not think of us photographers LOL
