Blue Damsel

Blue Damsel by ChickC

Good attempt. I saw my very first damselfly this summer and like you my shot never managed to get the eyes in focus. Maybe next year!

I love this shot - it has a a 'painting' look about it with a touch of the abstract. For me it works - well done!

Lovely shot, though I would love to see a little more light in the centre - just a personal preference though.

Jay

Gorgeous - I've never ever seen a jay. Don't know if they appear in Scotland.

Bokmakierie

A lovely shot and the angle is unusual but works in this case. Well done!

The Eye Of The Hunter 3

For me the eye looks a little artificial and I find that distracting. But a superb shot anyway!

This shot really shows off how powerful the wing span is. Well done.

Lovely capture, and nice 'n' crisp.

Insect.

Wonderful depth of field and lighting. Terribly anti social of the insect not to turn round and face the camera a bit more though. Well done!

Garden Flower

Garden Flower by kozway

I like the detail of the flower (is it a rhododendron?).

I'd like to see the picture cropped closely to exclude the shadow and foliage on the right which is distracting.

I do like the angle at which you've shot the flower.
