I think the focus is on the hair infront of the eye, instead of the eye itself which I think would be a bit better. I like the lighting but would be tempted to boost the contrast a smidge.

Also, the crop suggestion is a good one.

The foreground tree trunk looks a little soft to me. Maybe a smaller aperture would have corrected that? Also, I think the time of day you took the shot has led to a rather flat image- taking earlier/later would create more interesting shadows etc.

Yep, I could moan all day about shots that ignored on this site and the formulaic ones that get loads of attention (but that would make me a bit of a hypocrite). I like this a lot, primarily because the lighting of the car is superb (the blown highlights work well here) and the B&W treatment. Deserves more attention.

Hey Mark,

Loving the sepia series mate, very nice study of the objects. Plus, the treatment is excellent.

Hope you're doing well, thanks for your kind comments on my recent uploads.

I like this a lot, the kind of picture I'd want to hang on my wall. However, I think it would of been slightly improved if you had made it an exact 50:50 split, as it looks like there is slightly more water than sky.

Still, it's a cracker.

I like this one a lot, however I'm going to have to join the no-figures camp as I find them a touch out of place in the scene.

Fantastic. I'd agree with the suggestion about losing the rainbow though.

This is a nice looking shot son. The crop is interesting and bold, and works well.

Could of done with a saturation and contrast tweak if anything.

Keep it real son,

I like it although I feel that a slightly larger DOF would of improved the shot a touch.

Still, it's good.

I like it. Very emotive although I think the colour cast is a little too blue. A little less saturation would improve it in my opinion.

Nice work,

Phil
