I recently travelled to Consuegra, La Mancha, in Spain. I visited the area specifically to shoot it's mills. The weather was rather nasty and unstable but I managed to take a number of shots inbetween showers. This is one of them. I hope you like it.

LOL! I totally agree. It being there is the result of editing photos late into the night, one knows that little detail need fixing but totally forgets in the rush to get some sleep. Thanks for reminding me.

Wow, 5 windmills in a row, I thought this was only possible in photoshop. This place really is special and you have captured it to perfection. That sky is to die for. It is very Quixotic! Please clone that crane out though.

An AWESOME image and well presented too!

Thanks for your comment Andrew. Actually there are 13 Mills at Consuegra, they are all beautifully restored inside and out. There are also a number of other mills along the Don Quijote route but I only managed to see the once in Madrilejos. I think they are excellent subjects and must go back with better weather. Regards, Mabelle

Yes a very nice compostion and I agree about the crane. I also think the sky is a little overworked, it doesn't look quite natural . . . . just a personal opinion!

Personally I don't mind the crane being there at all as it fits in with all the rest that is stretching into the air/sky. The annoyance in this for me is the support rods at the rear of the Mills.
How can a sky that's totally natural look overworked?
Thankyou 4 sharing Smile
