The eyes of the Poppies looked , and so did the species behind it.
And they all listened to evaporation calling. Twill be what will be, in time...
Just for the jukebox
I am in love with Artesia....
I love this image as well, but as usual I am not brave enough to describe how I see it...'nuff to say I see so many things it has got my brain working again!!
A beautiful creation.
Really well done Dave. Do I take it that the car never got dug out? Thanks for your kind words by the way...
this hits the spot in vision and sound
Thanks , Im not just running , twas just a vision to break up and I apologise for my apathy of late.
Thanks so much Di , I aint to well myself , drained xx
Cool vision !
You always find such fabulous Music to accompany these beautiful compositions..
Pure visual poetry !
Nikki ! x
Lovely piece of conceptual Art Dave!
Magical and the music is so sublime Dave.
Looks to me like the end....or the beginning of Time.
So many stories and interpretations in this one.
Thanks , twas to lighten the darker stuff up a bit on these dark days.
And thanks everso Alifink , honoured !
Wonderful work indeed
I don't know if it is supposed to, but this has really cheered a fed up under the weather gal. I really like the brightness and somehow the poppies are telling me to follow over the hill (dune)and far, far away, all will be well. The light movement just brings - well light I guess. And we all need a little light now and again.
I like seeing it that way so that is how it stays my head.
I really do like this one Dave - for its message to me and the wonderfully executed work x
Yeh , good ! mind you its meant to be like erm immersive wiv da music
Good to watch and listen before bed. Till the next ...
Well strange but thought stimulating nice work,John
Wonderfully involving imagery and superbly crafted as allways Dave. The crazy blend of ice and fire on the horizon works blisteringly well for reasons I can't begin to understand. For me though the star trails aren't adding anything and only serve to pull my eye out of the glorious bottom two thirds. A much better pic without them IMHO.
Never cease to amaze.
Eric , thats just the sort of artistic dilemma I was struggling with , good critique.
Its trying to be a vision of harmony , I was zoned into its reason with the music playing loud , and the trails just seemed to orchestrate the landscape beneath , conducting the light and breaking rules , staccato light yet flowing rhythm Wave your hand and be a conductor with the music, it well works. !
The music and landscape fit like hand and glove Dave, beautiful the both of them.
Regarding the star trails then I think the image needs something up in the sky for balance if nothing else. In that respect they do a good job and funny but for me they don't pull my eye as would a single point of focus.
The crab thing does'nt sit right for me. Can't see how it fits in but then again I'm a little too blinkered at times to fully appreciate what you're trying to say.
see the lady di has contributed some fairy magic to lighten the way to armageddon. The drama in the music doesnt reach the crescendo that the image leads me towards.the image, visually ,benefits from being somewhat brighter than of late though the underlying message still seems one of dark disaster.Take care lad and its still a wonderfull world.
Thanks Neil , its a beautiful world we live , and that word "Crescendo" superb , real thanks that you listened to its try.
Hey ho , Ill keep trying !
Surrealism at its best Dave, almost Daliesque..
Visually this is a real treat. Star trails are very effective imo.
I suppose the crablike creature and poppies could depict a long slow journey to Armageddon. It's the eyes in the row of poppies that intrigues me.
Whatever - a cracking piece of work.
Cheers , yep the eyes all looking out of frame to the creeping evaporation was wot is was meant to be about !
Great weekend Scara, thank you.
Brilliant piece of inspirational work
There is formation in the sky most nights , nice work
A Sublime image.

Would look good on canvas Dave, nice and cheery.
Cheers bud ,I got it done on some real heavy hessian , looks great !
This is more uplifting.
