What do you do when you travel 6 hours and the sun does not play ball for you, well for me I get creative, Mono v Lee big stopper and half grad + circular polariser and a long exposure to create a world that's a bit different.
See what you think.
Nicely done Ian, it's good to be challenged and have to think laterally....
I'm travelling down that way next week with the family to camp and apparently it's gonna be July-like at last but who knows, I might have to think laterally too
My kind of image Ian, glad the creative juices were following regardless of the weather...nicely processed and oodles of drama.
Awesome mono work.....
I'm in awe!
what can i say but fantastic
Fantastic image captured. Deep
Fantastic long exposure image Ian. You have made the most of the poor weather conditions to capture this superb mono shot.
I think a slight slant to the horizon but very beautiful............Sandy
Thank you all very much for your comments and votes and thank you very much scooby for your user award, a very nice surprise thx again.
Sandy I am surprised that the Horizon looks on the wonk, I am not sure it is as i do straighten all horizons as part of my workflow with landscapes and seascapes, I have tried to straighten yet again but with no straightening possible.
You have a keen eye Sandy, I had another look and you are right so i do apologise , can't believe i missed that one, version 2 is a straightened horizon.
Wow!! This is stunning...just going to have to award you again
Ahh thank you Pinkk, , made my day.
Nice! cant decide on a fave.
the rocks on this beach are fabulous, you've done really well with the weather as it was, nice one.
thank you guys for your comments and votes they are always appreciated.
Top drawer work indeed Ian
Wonderful mono, version 2 for me.
Yep, version two for me as well. You also seem to have brightened it a tad over the original which helps make a great picture even "greaterer".
Version 2 is fan-bloody-tastic!
Lovely image Ian. Just full of dynamics.
V2 definitely. Being slightly brighter around the edges lets the eye roam around more. It's a 'wow' image in every way.
