What do you do when you travel 6 hours and the sun does not play ball for you, well for me I get creative, Mono v Lee big stopper and half grad + circular polariser and a long exposure to create a world that's a bit different.

See what you think.

Nicely done Ian, it's good to be challenged and have to think laterally....

I'm travelling down that way next week with the family to camp and apparently it's gonna be July-like at last but who knows, I might have to think laterally too Wink

Regards,
Barney

My kind of image Ian, glad the creative juices were following regardless of the weather...nicely processed and oodles of drama.

Fantastic long exposure image Ian. You have made the most of the poor weather conditions to capture this superb mono shot.

Thank you all very much for your comments and votes and thank you very much scooby for your user award, a very nice surprise thx again.
Sandy I am surprised that the Horizon looks on the wonk, I am not sure it is as i do straighten all horizons as part of my workflow with landscapes and seascapes, I have tried to straighten yet again but with no straightening possible.

Yep, version two for me as well. You also seem to have brightened it a tad over the original which helps make a great picture even "greaterer".

V2 definitely. Being slightly brighter around the edges lets the eye roam around more. It's a 'wow' image in every way.
