V1, Hands down. A mind blowing image perfectly composed. TG
V1 makes the most of the dramatic sky and reflection, the sand bars are really in a supporting role as lead in lines to the groyne which in turn leads to the spectacular sky. V2 burns out the sky so you lose your best feature just to enhance the sand bars which I why I think it doesn't work as well. You could always try and blend the two or make an HDR conversion to lighten the sandbars while preserving the sky and reflection. Then again considering how perfect V1 is, what would be the point?! ![]()
Al

V1 is full of drama, moodyness and a quiet energy that elevates the fine composition and the lingering journey through this fine scene i feel ![]()
A very impressive combination of composition exposure and colour. Congrats on the awards Chris.
