Another really excellent shot. The low point of view and your crop work well to create a feeling of a very wide, open and extremely cold place. As with your earlier upload the frozen grass the foreground adds to the sense of cold and creates a marvellous sense of scale especially when viewed large.

I have always thought that this view suits the panoramic format best - this proves my point. Don't think I'll have time to get up here before xmas this year unfortunately.

I always have to climb up the tripod but at least its not as cold here as where you are Dougie, superb shot very worthwhile all your pain and suffering in the cold
