...a little splash of red light hit the lower slopes of Sgurr na Stre across Loch Scavaig for a fleeting second, then vanished.
Quite amazing, among so much moody blue.
A beautiful capture.
That splash of light makes this Dougie, good moody tones too.
nich catchment of light dougie ,on a braw day by the looks of it
The decisive fleeting second, Dougie, perfect timing.
Intensely dramatic, almost volcanic.
A very cool wintry scene but the touch of colour on the far shore justs gives it that little bit of interest to attract the eye.
I don't fancy paddling in that Dougie. It looks a bit wild and cold for me.
Amazing...reminds me of hot coals!!
I always thought these are the Black Cuillins... the red ones are on the other side of the island... this looks like a volcanic underground in the Sgur - fantastic light and a great moment captured,
I like how the coloured pebbles in the right hand corner match the 'fire' at the bottom of the mountain.....lovely shot.
