...taken from the hill to the North of Ullapool on the road to Inverpoly, just as the rising sun was kissing the peaks.
This is from An Amazing Journey with my friend Kin.
morning dougie, like you say..just as the sun was kissing the peaks beautiful image superbly captured,,
Thanks Ian, it was a grand morning.
Hi Doug - wonderful image - Jude.
Love the light on the Peak Doug.Glorious shot.
A beautiful and well composed photo. Lovely stuff.
Magnificient light on the top
Another good long lens job Dougie. Often these peaks don't make good photos in their own right but this one works well, and with the light just coming up it makes an excellent shot.
Beautiful moment Doug, well observed. Ron.
That magical light Dougie. A most stunning image.
Proper rock up that way.
That glimpse of light just makes you want to investigate
Beautiful detail d.o.f. light Tone exposure and composition.
Capturing that magical moment Dougie. Nothing like it.
A stunning light on that triangular face, Dougie; makes it look like a benign version of the Eiger!
'A Night on the Bare Mountain' comes to mind, that's bleak!
Lovely mountain shot. Must get over there ourselves next time we get snow.
a lovely image with fine tones, you caught the light well Dougie.
That little bit of light - stunning!
Great work with the big lens Dougie. Hope to be up here arond Easter again.
Lovely capure looks good large Dougie.
It is my pleasure, Dougie, to give this superb image an RC.
Large looke great
Just that touch of early light is enough to make them peaks stand out, nicely caught Dougie, well done.
Could I go to bed before having at least dopped in here to say hello? Definitely not.
A wonderful mountain image again, I like the special golden light here Dougie, softening a little this huge hump.
Sleep well my friend,
Impressive view of this great mountain. I hear it's an 'expedition' to make a winter ascent.
It's a very large ridge and very exposed all year but in winter must be treacherous, but I'm no mountain man.
a grand mountain it is....
Gonna set up it one day and sit on lord berkleys seat at the summit...
Well done Douglas
