......reflected in the still waters of Loch Cul Dromannan. This was taken 3 days after the last upload, the sun in this one is shining directly on the Stac and the fg is in shadow.
The mirror of the mountain in the Loch is a feature of the area, the Loch sits in a hollow and the wind blows over without touching the surface.
What a beautiful shot - Jude.
great shot - mike
My word Dougie you do get some nice light up there. Teriffic landscape.
Have a good Sunday.
We had a wonderful four days of weather Danny, everywhere we went the weather, light and sun seemed to arrive right behind us.
Wow what stillness in those reflections, great work Dougie
Trinquility and beautiful warm tones. Silverzone
It is splendid Dougie, such a great reflection, gives me my bonnie Scotland twice. I need it today.
What fantastic sceney captured so beautifully.Superb Doug.
This is effectively only three tones, light, mid and dark and it works very well. Lovely reflections and a beautiful shot.
Reflective majesty Doug. Ron.
Fine reflections, nicely balanced comp.
Another beauty Dougie!
The stillness of that water is quite remarkable. A glorious image, Dougie, you must be proud of this one.
Mornin' Dougie, lovely comp' and light on this wonderful scene.
Lovely subdued colours and great reflections Dougie.
Love that band of inky shadow, and the think streak of silver at the water's edge.
Great image Dougie with brilliant reflections
One for my list, I think

I've spent years correcting the spelling of photographers, and their grammar.
if you're in the area.
Oh Dearie me, old age isnae easy.
Stunning Shot as always Doug.
stac pollaidh is one of my favourite mountains in Scotland. Well photographed here with lovely subtle tones in the sky.
A nice spelling lesson and a great reflection
There's a nice bit of light on THAT hill Dougie, you've caught it well . We've been trying to avoid the area for a while but we're having withdrawal symptoms now.

Nicely put my friend.
Sooo nice a spot Doug, did it proud.
Another beautiful shot that takes me away. I'm getting jealous, Dougie.
Know this spot very well. Normally Stac Pollaidh is shrouded in mist and you were very lucky with the reflections that day.
Thanks for your comment on my upload today.
I have one big advantage over many new digital SLR owners - I have someone to explain how to use it. Phil is being very patient with me during the learning process He claims it's the blind leading the blind, but I don't believe him!
Great light and reflection Dougie
you've got some cracking shapes in them there hills up there.
this ones ace, makes the dales look rather featureless in comparison...
creaqting a great documentary of the place, covering far more than the usual glen coe and rannock moor shots we see churned out.
top drawer, as John Virgo always says
I've passed this a few times and always thought it was so bare. However, I will need to put on my photographer's specs the next time I visit - this is exceptional.
Stunning image Doug.........Bev
