...this is one from June this year. I tried for something new on this tree this month when I was here but the light just wouldn't play. Along the bank of Loch Sunart, Ardnamurchan, Scotland.

Not much to do about light sometimes, great details in the sky and the light among the trees on the shores are great

You showus more sky than land but one can easily see why. That is a fantastic sky with a landscape to match.

Glorious shimmery water in the foreground really catches the eye, then allows our gaze to widen towards the patch of light over the tree and adjacent land. The sky will never allow us to forget its presence for an instant. Lovely composition.

Morning Dougie - some nice light on the foreground water and good tones too. Overall a pleasing image well captured.

Lovely scene, superb light.
Please have a look at my Members Exhibitions entry as it is a view of the nature entries to our club 2008 exhibition by loads of great photographers. Which is why none of mine made the selection.lol.

Hi Chris there are some really great images in the exhibition, shame none of yours made it this time, always next year though. My favourite was the Eagle going for the kill.

All the very best

Really like this one Dougie. Good comp and lovely sky. Never been there, but will have to make the effort sometime as it looks like a great place.

That's a fine tree, you have a great eye for the strong, telling detail.

I love the sparkle on the water where the sun just manages to squeeze through...it's a teriffic sky. The landscape is very beautiful.

Not only the viewer's attention my dear friend, but the viewer's heart, too.
Thank you for enhancing a dreary, drab, dull, driech morning.

Blindingly beautiful light on this. The fragile tree against the immense sky captures the attention on this one.
