not a lot of folk like birch trees but I think they come into their own this time of year with the contrast of the trunks against the bracken. Love the dappled light on the leaves as a veil to the view behind.

The birch trunks are outstanding. The colours are beautiful ... the whole scene reminds me of 'The Singing Ringing Tree' ... a kiddies tv programme when I was younger (A lot younger)! Good title too.

Quite wonderful.
The colours of the season at their best with nothing else to distract, only the blue in the sky to enhance. Again to be seen large to appreciate the sharpness and detail.

What a glorious autumn tree - I like the split picture Dougie, half lit up by sunshine, half still in the shadow, fg still dark, bg blazing with sunshine.
