Douglas,
I'm going to stick my neck out and say this would be better with a lump taken off the left to reduce the expanse of dark hillside...into just left of the brightly lit round boulder in the foreground...what do you think?

There's a different crop about 10 shots back, have a look the black gives weight to the composition I felt and shows the light shining down the riverbed.

I think it's the fact that the dark side leads the eye, that adds to the shot.

You really got low for this one Douglas and it paid off picking up all that foreground detail, very well composed image, Adrian
