Loch of the Lowes nestling under the Riskinhope Rig in the Scottish Borders. The Loch sits alongside the larger
St Mary's loch on the Road to Selkirk from Moffat.

Mostly Fuji crisp...just had my monitor calibrated and it makes a big diffenrence what I see is what comes out the printer and on the web, plus some magic dust now and then. It,of course only works some of the time.
All the best Chris
Hi Patrick i was parked on the side of the road and the bikers were going past at a pace of knots.
Good evening Dougie. I love the patterns created by the clouds both in the sky and in the reflection.
Very pleasing shot with great colour and reflections.
Well composed and taken.
Fantastic reflection and Great composition. The landscape is fantastic, this shot makes me thinking of coming visiting Scottland.
Hi Jeanie, I came here specifically to look for the Loch's and found the reflection much earlier than expected.
Cheers for the nice comments,as always,
I look at this and just want to be there!
Am I looking at a photograph or looking out of a window? The detail that's been captured is exquisite.

All been said so Click...
I could get lost in that 3D sky . It is fantastic . A wonderful capture . x
Super image Dougie, all the elements are there. I like the use of foreground, but did you take one a yard, or two, forwards. If you've got one, I'd be interested to a version without the foreground to give 100% to the reflection.
All the best,
What Pete said!!

I'm afraid no cigar, the best I have is with a little fg but the cloud moved over the right of the hills.
Cheers for the RC to all who voted.

Your borders series is an inspiration for me to get out and about closer to home more often.
All I need now is a bit of decent weather!
Well it was patchy on Saturday when I took this. I picked a locals brains who is a colleague and also my boss for the locations and have a couple more to do weather permitting.
I love Assynt and Skye and Sutherland and tend to zoom off there, when around the corner are little treasures awaiting.
Cheers Simon for the comment and thought,
Beautiful reflections and overall scene
